Converting wind power into electricty for use in our buildings
Although wind turbines generate an alternating current (AC) they still use an inverter to synchronise the electrical frequency with the national grid. This is why the following types of inverters are used:
For the Proven 2.5 we use 1 x SMA2500
For the Proven 6 we use 2 x SMA3000
For the Proven 15 we use 6 x SMA2500
